Empire Bar & Izakaya
Empire Bar and Izakaya is dark and cavernous, with nods to Japanese refinement through well-appointed artefacts. A series of intimate booths flank the wall, jewelled with an inferno of glistening red tiles.
Their speciality at Empire is Yakitori. The traditional form of Yakitori involves using chicken in its entire form – chicken thigh, chicken skin, and chicken heart. They have expanded their Yakitori menu to include other delicious options such as pork belly, scallops, and prawns (also known as Kushiyaki). Try just a few of their Yakitori skewers on your own, or order the entire menu and share with friends!
The menu is more than just Yakitori, though; they also serve Izakaya style dishes. Their Izakaya dishes are designed to be shared and enjoyed by the whole table, much like Spanish tapas. The food is presented at your table as soon as it’s ready, so that it’s served in its perfect state.
