New Zealand’s first lady of jazz and soul, Hollie Smith, celebrates the 10th anniversary of her iconic debut album Long Player this September with a nationwide tour.
The album established Smith’s solo career while earning her a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most recognisable voices, racking up ‘Best Female Solo Artist’, ’Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Producer’ at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards along the way.
Playing at venues up and down New Zealand, the tour kicks off at San Fran in Wellington on September 14, before moving on to the Mayfair in New Plymouth on September 15, and picking up again in the South Island again on September 29 at the Christchurch Arts Centre. Full tour dates are as follows:
