The Marlborough Wine & Food Festival is the country’s first and longest-running wine festival. Held in the world-renowned wine producing region of Marlborough, it offers attendees a change to try a variety of of the region’s world-class wines (with over 50 local vineyards represented).
There’s also a huge helping of delicious local cuisine available, and it all goes down in one of the region’s most picturesque vineyards, Brancott Vineyard.
For those serious about their wine, there’s tutorials from the region’s leading winemakers, while the Culinary Pavilion hosts a bevvy of celebrity chef and cooking demonstrations for foodies. Kiwi entertainment – this year including Tiki Taane, Fran Kora, Boh Runga, Anna Coddington and Joel Shadbolt – is also on stage all day long to complete a perfect summer’s day out.
