New Zealand International Comedy Festival

The country’s annual comedic festival seems to get bigger every year, attracting big names in international comedy as well as showcasing the cream of comedic talent in New Zealand.

This year there’s over three weeks of stand-up, sketch, improv, comedic-theatre, clowning, children’s and musical comedy to chose from running in Auckland, Wellington, and further afield around the country, with international acts in 2017 including Eric Andre, Ed Byrne, Phil Jupitus, and Markus Birdman, and a slew of Kiwi favourites as well, such as Guy Williams, Raybon Kan, Rose Matafeo, and Urzila Carlson (pictured).
