Every Saturday market-goers will find seedlings and plants, flowers, and fresh veges, preserves, artisan breads, Indian and Turkish delicatessen (includes the original Turkish delights), cheeses, cakes and cookies, and all sorts of bacon and salamis, locally-grown lavender, soaps, jewellery, wooden toys, knitware, and a huge variety of collectibles, second-hand books, and garden ornaments. Gael's fairy-type dolls alone are worth coming to our market for. We also recommend you try out Phoenix Orchard's fantastic passion fruit vanilla drizzle, and/or Stephanie's fudge, just in case you've a sweet tooth.
Most Saturdays we are having entertainment at the market, with a wide range of different bands and musicians. Enjoy them and relax in one of the award-winning cafes in Grahamstown, the most picturesque part of Thames.
Something for your diary: To celebrate Thames Heritage Week we will have a Heritage Market on Saturday, March the 17th 2012 from 8am to 2pm. The market area will be extended substantially for this event.
