Your international ATM card and credit card will work at New Zealand ATMs as long as they have a four-digit PIN encoded. If in doubt, check with your bank in your home country before leaving.

 

Accessing cash is easy throughout New Zealand. ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines or ‘Money Machines’) are widely available in all but the smallest NZ towns.

Shopping malls, New Zealand airports and high streets usually offer ATMs representing a range of New Zealand Banks. BNZ (Bank of New Zealand) has a handy ATM locator (http://find.bnz.co.nz/locations/atm) on their website.
