  • nz information

New Zealand’s main mobile phone providers are Vodafone and Telecom, both of which offer contracts and prepaid tariffs.

New Zealand has analogue and GSM digital mobile phone networks. International roaming is available with most providers. Depending on how long you are staying in New Zealand it might be cheaper to rent a mobile phone or to buy a New Zealand SIM card.

New Zealand’s main mobile phone providers are Vodafone and Telecom, both of which offer contracts and prepaid tariffs. 2degrees is a relatively new low-cost network which beats Vodafone’s and Telecom’s prepaid prices. If you plan to text and phone family and friends overseas, 2degrees also offers great prices for international texts and international calling rates.
