Tickets can be purchased from selected Ticketek agencies around New Zealand. They can also be purchased via the Rugby World Cup 2011 website www.rugbyworldcup.com/tickets or by telephone via the Rugby World Cup 2011 Contact Centre on 0800 RUGBY11 (0800 784 2911) or +64 9 367 2011 from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday NZT.
Beware of unauthorised ticket sellers. Tickets should only be purchased from official ticket sellers to ensure the tickets are genuine. Rugby World Cup 2011 tickets are non-transferable except to family or friends for their personal use. (The transfer must not be for an amount greater than the original sale price of the ticket.)
Depending on the venue, there are up to five price categories for Rugby World Cup 2011 tickets. Not all price categories are available at each venue. Categories range from ‘A’, the highest price, to ‘D’ or ‘GA’. (The GA, or ‘General Admission’, category is for standing positions.) Concession prices for children aged 16 years or younger (as at 1 September 2011) are available within Category ‘D’ and Category ‘GA’ for pool matches and the Bronze Final. A handling fee is payable per transaction.
