Spring is here which means that it’s spring skiing season in New Zealand! If you’re looking to attend a great snow event, why not come along to the BASE Triple Comp at Treble Cone Ski Area on Saturday 11 September?

BASE Triple Comp combines three awesome New Zealand ski and snowboard competitions in one action-packed day. The day will kick off with the POW Banked Slalom in the Saddle Basin of Treble Cone Ski Area. The race will test both speed and precision of the alpine athletes. Afterwards, the Bern Expression Session will challenge the skiers’ and snowboarders’ creativity on natural terrain.

In the afternoon the action will focus on the Saddle Air with the Rossignol Big Air competition testing the athletes’ mid-air moves. The whole spectacle will be accompanied with party music and MCs.

The Kings and Queens of the Mountain will be crowned from 7pm at Wanaka’s Mint Bar – a prize pool of $2,000 in cash and products is up for grabs! Finally, the day will end with a big after-party at the same venue.
