Looking to attend a really good alternative country rock ‘n‘ roll gig? In that case New Zealand band Devils Elbow is just the thing for you. The Hawke’s Bay band will play all over New Zealand (see below for a list of gigs) and present their long-awaited debut album Sand on Chrome.

In February Devils Elbow toured with Grant Hart from the US and released their debut single "KO." Since then they have received repeat plays on numerous radio stations and spent weeks in the KIWI FM Top 10. Devils Elbow formed in 2007 and consists of core members Alec Withers on vocals and guitar and Andrew Gladstone on vocals and drums, but they play in various formations. For the upcoming tour they’ll be joined by bassist and ex Green Beaver front man Dominic Coyle, and they’ll be supported by Grand Prix front man Andrew McKenzie.

If you want to see Devils Elbow live and enjoy an evening of awesome Kiwi alternative country rock ‘n‘ roll, mark the following dates in your diary:
Friday 15 October Mighty Mighty (Wellington)
Saturday 16 October The Royal (Palmerston North)
Wednesday 20 October Phat Club (Nelson)
Thursday 21 October Dux de Lux (Christchurch)

Saturday 23 October Chicks Hotel (Dunedin)
Sunday 24 October Wunderbar (Lyttelton)
Friday 5 November Orca (Raglan)
Saturday 6 November Thirsty Dog (Auckland)
Friday 19 November The Cabana (Napier)

Saturday 22 January Blues, Brews & BBQs (Hastings)
