Due to its popularity, New Zealand’s Kauri Museum in Matakohe, Northland, is again holding its great school holiday programme in the coming weeks.

Lessons and Storytelling with Miss Strict will take place from 11am to 12pm from Monday 27 September to Friday 1 October, and from Monday 4 October to Friday 8 October. Classes are held at the old Matakohe School in the Kauri Museum grounds. And the Matakohe School isn’t just any old school. It is Matakohe’s very first original school building and comes complete with vintage desks, books, pens, maps and more. Miss Strict’s students travel back in time for the exciting experience of getting a glimpse into what school was like almost 150 years ago!

With Miss Strict and the Kauri Museum kids certainly won't get bored in the next term break, and they won’t even mind returning to the classroom in the middle of their school holidays! For more information and to enrol at Miss Strict’s school, click here or call +64 9 431 7417.

Lessons and Storytelling with Miss Strict at the Kauri Museum: 27 September – 1 October 2010 & 4 – 8 October 2010
