Are you looking to keep fit and do you enjoy running? Then why not combine your passion with New Zealand’s spectacular scenery? The Riverrun Trail Series is an off-road running series showcasing the stunning river and lakeside tracks in Lake Wanaka.

The first event of the inaugural Riverrun Trail Series will kick off on 17 October and feature the Hawea River Track. You can choose from five-kilometre, ten-kilometre and half marathon options, and with just over eight weeks to go you have plenty of time to prepare. The second event, a 14.1-kilometre run from Albert Town to Luggate on the Clutha Track, will take place on 19 February 2011, and the final race, a 14.3-kilometre run from Glendhu Bay to Wanaka’s Roy's Bay via the Damper Bay and Waterfall Creek Tracks, will be held on 21 May 2011.

There are great prizes up for grabs, too. The fastest male and female competitors over the whole series will receive the John Pawson Trophy and a major cash prize. Other goodies include Rivive massage and beauty treatments, accommodation at the Riverrun Luxury Lodge, sports clothing from Racers Edge and Sportsbands, and track run training from Lakes Podiatry as well as heaps of vouchers.

To enter the competition, download an entry form. And now pull on your running shoes and start training – the John Pawson Trophy could be yours!
