The world’s best bartenders and mixologists are currently in the world’s best adventure playground, Queenstown, so make sure you’re there, too! On Friday 18 March the Cocktail World Champion will be crowned at Queenstown’s Lake Hayes A&P Showgrounds.

Doors for the 42Below Cocktail World Cup Finals 2011 open at 7pm and the party starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are available from www.1night.co.nz and cost NZ$42. The ticket price includes your transport from Queenstown to and from the venue and, of course, two free cocktails. All proceeds from this year's 42Below Cocktail World Cup will go to the Christchurch Earthquake Relief Fund.

And why not expand your culinary adventure for the whole upcoming weekend? After attending the 42Below Cocktail World Cup Finals, Queenstown’s restaurants and bars are waiting. Sample seafood at Steamer Wharf or sip a local wine in a wine bar! You could also make a daytrip of it and head out to one of the region’s excellent wineries.
