It’s only a bit more than two months till the biggest sporting event New Zealand has ever seen will be hosted on these shores. Today, the remaining tickets for pool matches have gone on sale and tomorrow RWC knock-out matches will follow. Have you booked your piece of history yet? Have you made sure you have a seat when over 85,000 rugby fans from all over the world will come to New Zealand?

You can buy your RWC tickets from the official Rugby World Cup website, but you do have to be fast as more tickets are snatched up by the minute. For the ultimate experience you can still get hold of Hospitality Packages and Travel Packages. If you’d rather be entirely flexible and create your own New Zealand rugby holiday, you’ll find heaps of inspiration in our Rugby World Cup section.

If you are planning a budget New Zealand holiday you can match your budget accommodation and car rental with low-cost tickets, starting from only NZ$31 for adults and NZ$15 for children! This means you can be part of the action and still have heaps of money to spend on iconic New Zealand activities.

If you’d like to splash out, make sure you got your credit card ready when the remaining tickets for the knock-out games go on sale tomorrow, 5 July. To complement your luxurious rugby experience, you can indulge in New Zealand cuisine before or after the matches and stay in style in deluxe lodges and boutique accommodation (just like the big rugby stars do!).

A must-do, no matter what budget you are on, is to catch some events of the REAL NZ Festival. And for the games you don’t get to experience live in the stadiums, you should head to New Zealand’s special rugby Fanzones. Party hot spots include Auckland’s and Wellington’s waterfronts, Christchurch’s Hagley Park and Dunedin’s Octagon.

So what are you waiting for? Get your hands on Rugby World Cup 2011 tickets and then get your accommodation, transport and activities sorted.
