Take your taste-buds on a road trip through the lower North Island this weekend! The Manawatu Wine & Food Festival will take place on 11 and 12 June and offers the chance to sample delicacies from all over Manawatu and the lower North Island.

Held at the Awapuni Racing & Function Centre in Palmerston North, the Manawatu Wine & Food Festival will open its gate from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The event features local wines and boutique foods from the region alongside café-style public refreshments from Creative Catering Ltd. Sample gourmet caramel apples, Wai-Ora farm lamb, craft beers and much more. You’ll also find a range of local musicians performing at the Manawatu Wine & Food Festival.

Tickets cost NZ$20 (children under 14 years are free) and can be bought at the Palmerston North i-SITE Visitor Centre in The Square, at the gates or online. So if you’re in the area, make the coming weekend a weekend all about New Zealand food and wine!
