It’s Auckland’s biggest party and it’s just days away. Auckland Cup Week 2011, New Zealand’s largest horse racing carnival, features 30 horse races, more than NZ$4 million worth of prizes, three fashion competitions and great entertainment.

Auckland Cup Week 2011 kicks off with Derby Day on Saturday 5 March, and continues with Auckland Cup Day on 9 March and Diamond Day on 12 March. Apart from watching top-class horse races you can try to scoop the prestigious Mercedes Prix de Fashion prize (entry is free!), watch fashion shows, see the painted horses in the Resene Fastest Art Exhibition, join the Stella Artois Légère Garden Party, catch some live music or check out the awesome Telecom Carnival with picnics and parties.
