Do your kids turn up their noses at museum visits? Well, they certainly won’t when you tell them about Auckland Museum’s Food Glorious Food event.

Youngsters (and adults) are in for an exciting night and an adventure for the taste-buds. The premiere of Food Glorious Food will kick off with a hunt for food in the oddest places in the Auckland Museum on 4 July. Kids are free to explore the new exhibition Kai to Pie Auckland on Your Plate after hours with a special map that will help them find their way around the nighttime galleries. They’ll embark on fun activities and meet characters like Field Engineer Ropata who’ll share his stories about food rations in war-time Gallipoli. Each activity will contribute towards earning a treat from Polly Trolley Dolly at the end of the adventurous evening.

Go ahead and book your tickets now!

Food Glorious Food event dates: July 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 16 (6pm – 8pm)

Cost: Adults and children (3 years and over) $20 pre-sales or $25 door sales (group discounts and transaction fees apply)
