Sister Kong

Sister Kong is inspired by Hong Kong eats and late-night Chinatown cocktail bars in New York. They obsess about bao, doing whatever it takes to make the best bao burgers you’ll ever see. These guys did their homework – travelling to Hong Kong and Taipei to see what it takes to make the best bao burgers you can find.


Bubble and Squeak Dumplings (6) (VG, DF, V) Lentil, kumara, spinach and corn with coconut curry sauce. $12

MC Bao Mac SIGNATURE DISH Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a Taiwanese steamed bun. $14

Zingy Chicken Bao Fried chicken thigh, bok choy slaw, pickled green tomato with honey harissa. $17

Tempura Pumpkin (VG, V) Tempura pumpkin, miso edamame spread, toasted sunflower seeds, charred cabbage and sweet soy. $15

Sake Miso Cured Salmon (GF, DF) Miso cured salmon, shaved cucumber, radish, pickled onion, coriander and black rice. $20

Filipino Mixed Salad (GF, VG, N, V) Baby cos, carrots, bean sprouts, glass noodles, pickled veg, coriander, fresh herbs, crushed peanuts with chilli lime. $18
